‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’ box office collection day 11: Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshii Chaudhary’s film mints over Rs 43.7 crore

Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshii Chaudhary starrer ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’ has been performing well at the box office. The movie was released on January 14 and the film has been gradually raking up decent numbers. According to early estimates, the film earned over two crore on its 11th day.

As per a report by trade analyst Sacnilk, on Wednesday, the film collected Rs 6.15 crore. Later, it increased to Rs 7.4 crore on Thursday. It’s first weekend they saw noted good figures. On day 3, the film made Rs 7 crore, with day 4 adding Rs 7.15 crore and day 5 collecting Rs 6.25 crore. After its initial weekend then on day 6, the numbers dropped. It made Rs 2.55 crore on Monday. On Tuesday, it collected Rs 1.8 crore, then on Wednesday it added Rs 1.25 crore. After the weekend, the total amount came to Rs 40.65 crore.

On Friday, the film is reported to have made Rs 1.1 crore and now on Saturady it collected Rs 1.95 crore, which brings the total collection to Rs 43.7 crore.

Theatrical occupancy

’Anaganaga Oka Raju’ had an overall 32.86% Telugu occupancy on Friday. The shows started with a decent attendance of 15.43%, and then increased to 31.32%. The occupancy again increased to 37.76% and peaked at night with 46.91%.

About ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’

Directed by Maari, the film is a comedy-drama which circles around the life of Naveen Polishetty’s character Raju. He is seen as from a once-wealthy zamindar family now in decline, seeks a rich bride after family humiliation at a wedding. He meets Charulatha, portrayed by Meenakshi Chaudhary and uses tricks to win her, facing a twist that leads to marriage and local politics in Peddapalem village.

Key supporting roles feature Nag Raj Kottu and Rao Ramesh, plus surprise actors.
