Three young men and a girl are on the mission of their lives – to end their lives. All have a similar reason, or so we are told. Failure in love brings them to the brink of committing suicide when the girl, quite unexpectedly, literally drives the fear of death into them.

Going quite steady with a girl, Sudheer (Sudheer Babu), decides the courtship has to culminate in marriage. He is honest about his love for the girl but very soon realises that the girl had been two-timing him. Vexed with his life and unable to bear the loss of face, Sudheer wants to call it quits. Very soon he is joined by three others, who also find there is no meaning to their lives when their love was spurned.

Before executing their plan, they decide on doing something that they describe as their last wish. Nandu (Nanditha) wants to steal a new car, and another wants to slap the local MLA. They do it. After fulfilling their wishes, they reach the guest house where they decide they would end their lives by midnight. However, it is not the beginning of the end. It is only time for interval. The rest of the movie is not for the chicken hearted.

The issue is with Nandu. She’s got a soft corner for Sudheer. But the problem isn’t that. Possessed by a ghost on and off at the guest house, she drives the rest of the three crazy and they literally scurry for cover at the sight of her. Nandu is at a loss to understand why their behaviour towards her has changed. The plan to die is put off by three days in view of the developments. The foremost thing on everyone’s mind is how to drive away the ghost.

The story written by Maruthi has meat. The movie made under his `directorial supervision’ provides some entertainment in the horror scenes. While Sudheer Babu carries himself well throughout the film, the one who grabs eyeballs is Nanditha, the girl with big eyes. She makes her `scary presence’ felt, thanks also to the music that lifted very many scenes.

What, however, was annoying was having to see visuals of the guest house too often and the sole purpose of the film maker is to scare you. It is a failed effort though. Moreover, the director does not choose the intelligent way of arguing why the youth should not commit suicide.

If wanting to see someone scared is your cup of tea, this love story that is not, is for you.
