Movie Review: The future is scary but the depth of the sea is scarier to muster the courage to jump into it and commit suicide. If that predicament was not bad enough, a thief with a knife appears from nowhere and wants to loot her. Life can’t get tougher for her.

Priya (Priya Banerjee) does not want to marry the man her loving dad chooses for her. The family is settled in the US and just as her father has plans for her life, Priya has plans for herself. She would rather pursue her higher studies in Oxford where she gets a seat. The chosen groom is also Harvard educated but Priya has her priorities for her life.

When the groom’s family comes home and the alliance is finalised, Priya exercises the only option in front of her. She drives off in the groom’s car. She brings it to a screeching halt beside the sea on a cliff. Priya wants to end her life but the thug who shows up will not let her. There’s a war of words. He convinces her that there is more to life than just committing suicide. She’s convinced that she wants to do all that she has in her heart and then exercise the suicide option.

The thug, Sunny (Adivi Sesh) has a businessman like approach. He will show her all the good things in life that she has missed so far but she will have to pay him for his services. She agrees grudgingly. Priya’s family is worried and a search party sets off to find her.

Meanwhile, it is time for fun for Priya and Sunny who watch the sun, the birds fly, dance at pubs and live it up. Sunny is willing to go all the distance for Priya just so that she will forget about committing suicide. The next day is crucial. Sunny who went all the way from Ameerpet to America’ has booked tickets to return to India. The couple realise in the 24 hours that they have been with each other, they cannot live without each other anymore.

Priya finally is sent home. And Sunny heads for the airport to catch a flight. If you cannot guess what happens next ask someone who had even inadvertently watched the ending of a Telugu film.

In so far as the theme is concerned, the filmmaker Adivi Sesh has shown that he has a purpose in making the movie. He also drives home the point in an effective way. Perhaps, some of the scenes could have been pruned. As the lead character in the film, Adivi Sesh also gets a natural feel into his portrayal. Priya Banerjee puts effort into getting her expressions right in her role. Shafi displays some comic histrionics in his unusual role, showing another shade of his talent.
