Aishwarya Rai roots

Aishwarya Rai’s first acting role was in the Telugu film Iruvar (1997), directed by Mani Ratnam. Though she went on to become an international icon, her early Tollywood performance displayed elegance and screen presence, paving the way for her Bollywood journey with Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997).
