Vaikom Vijayalakshmi calls off her wedding

Popular singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, who got recently engaged to Santhosh last year, seems to have called off her wedding. The

wedding

was scheduled to be held on March 29. Vijayalakshmi’s father has been quoted saying that that it was better to have said no in the beginning rather than regretting later.

The buzz is that Santhosh had asked the

singer

to stop singing after marriage and teach music at a school. This apart, Santhosh had earlier agreed to stay at Vijayalakshmi’s house. Since, the sudden change of mind didn’t go down well with the family; they decided to call off the wedding.
