Suriya releases an anti-suicide music video

Actor Suriya is someone who is very keen on providing support for those needy, for their education and he has been supporting many such students through his Agaram Trust.
Recently, the actor has lent his support for a campaign against suicide. He launched a music video Kaditham, through his Twitter account. The song is a part of the ‘I Killed Suicide,’ an initiative by Wish A Smile Foundation.The actor was all praise for the team behind the video, which has a timely message. With the board exams fast approaching, many students are under undue stress and suicide prevention helplines are flooded with calls.
Kaditham’s vocals are by Malavika Sundar of Indian Idol and Super Singer fame, and a Singapore-based team has done the performances. The song is a part of Thoothuvan, a short film directed by Thiru TK. With an actor like Suriya launching it, the makers are glad that a strong message against suicide has got a wider audience.
