Singing for big films helped me: Padmalatha

Singer Padmalatha is on a high after receiving several offers from music composers. The singer, who sang two songs for the upcoming Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar and Andrea-starrer, has been getting a lot of opportunities since then. ���I am fortunate to have sung two songs for the film and it gave me an opportunity to work with bigwigs in the industry.Now, I don���t even have to announce that I���ve sung these songs. Singing for big films eventually helped me get more projects,��� says Padmalatha.
The singer is also on a high after receiving a compliment from singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. She says, ���SPB sir made a special mention about my song and my style of singing for the album. I am pleased to receive this compliment from him.���
The singer also says that working for this film tapped her potential as a versatile singer. ���One of the songs that I have sung was written by Kamal sir. Initially, I was scared as the format of the songs are different. I was conscious, but the team supported me a lot,��� she adds. Now, Padma has a lot of songs in the pipeline. ���I got to sing for Orange Mittai, Andava Kaanom and Indru Netru Naalai after this biggie. All of them are of different genres,��� she signs off.
