Simbu, who makes a cameo appearance in
Radha Mohan’s
Kaatrin Mozhi
, has completed dubbing for the film. According to Dhananjayan, who’s backing the film, the actor’s guest appearance will be one of the highlights of the movie, which is the remake of Vidya Balan-starrer
Tumhari Sulu
. A scene in the movie required a celebrity to attend a radio show hosted by Jyotika, who plays the lead in it. As a big admirer of Jyotika, Simbu agreed to be a part of the scene. Interestingly, the Hindi version had Ayushmann Khurrana playing the part.
Kaatrin Mozhi also features Vidaarth, Lakshmi Manchu, MS Bhaskar and Manobala among others. AH Kaashif, nephew of AR Rahman, has been roped in as the music director for the project, which has lyrics by Madhan Karky. Mahesh Muthuswami cranks the camera, while Kadhir handles art direction. National Award-winning costumer Poornima, dialogue writer Pon Parthiban and editor Praveen KL are also part of the film, which is slated for a release in October.
