Mysskin, who has begun work on
Pisasu 2
, has been sharing updates on the development of the film on his Twitter handle for quite some time. He has now revealed that popular singer
Sid Sriram has sung a song — "a beautiful melody" — for the film. He also praised the singer, saying that he has a mesmerising, soul-touching and gentle voice. He even went ahead and called the Kannana Kanne singer "a gift".
Mysskin wrote, "Today @sidsriram sang a beautiful melody for Pisasu-2. He has a Mesmerizing, Soul touching & a Gentle voice which elevates anything he sings. SID YOU ARE A GIFT TO US!!!(sic)"
Pisasu has music scored by Karthik Raaja, who is collaborating with the ace filmmaker for the first time. The music composing for the film began on October 16, 2020, and the composer had come up with a melody first, which impressed the director so much that he called him "an enchanter".
Mysskin has previously revealed that lyricist
Kabilan
had written two songs for the film in a single day. So far, going by the director's posts, well-known singers like
Priyanka,
Srinidhi
, and up and coming drummer
Guberan
, are going to be part of this film's album.

Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role, and she is said to be playing an Anglo-Indian character. Andrea, who is Anglo-Indian in real life, too, has revealed that she took inspiration from a photo of her maternal grandmother while designing her look in the horror thriller.
