Shanthnu sings 'Bekku Paiyan'

Actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj has recently turned to singing. The actor has teamed up with music composer LVM(Simbu's cousin) for an independent music album. The teaser of the song, Bekku Paiyan from the album was released yesterday.

LVM says, 'I have always wanted to do independent albums as it's well received here. My next album Bekku Paiyan is about a guy, who is not confident about his looks, falls in love with a beautiful girl. The lyrics are quirky, and it will definitely impress youngsters. We have already released the song's teaser and we are planning to release the full version of it on September 5.' The music video, which features Karthi Prasanna and Shweta Gai in the lead, is directed by R Arvind Ramalingam, and the lyrics are written by Naveen Johnson.

On roping in Shanthnu for the song, he says, 'He has earlier sung two lines in a song in Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam. His voice is really unique and youthful. I want work on more songs with him.'
LVM has composed music for Anu Haasan's Valladesam, and he will soon be signing a few more projects in Tamil.
