Sam CS replaces Darbuka Siva in Arulnithi-Shraddha film

Darbuka Siva, who was supposed to compose the music for

K13

, the psychological drama that stars Arulnithi and

Shraddha

Srinath, has now been replaced with

Sam CS

of Vikram Vedha fame.

Talking about this development, the film’s debutant director Bharath Neelakantan informs, “Our original schedule got slightly offset. And Siva had directorial aspirations. We had some strict timeframes, and the schedules clashed. So, a week ago, we decided to part ways, saying that we would work together some time in the future.”

Bharath says that Siva hadn’t begun work on the film, so this wasn’t a deal-breaker. “We were only bouncing thoughts on the music,” he says.

Meanwhile, Sam and the director, who has finished shooting the film, have had a few sittings and the music director has started working on the score now. “Right now, we are working towards the one song which we have in the film (the song was shot with scratch music), and the re-recording, as those are top on our priority list. We might have one more montage song. The script demands a lot of background tracks, and we are finalising the number of tracks that we could have,” says Bharath, who says that once the music is ready, the film will be complete.
