Raaja’s songs are the backbone of this film

Kalathur Gramam is an emotional drama, set against a rural backdrop. The film, which has Kishore in the lead role, has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Talking about the film director Saran K Advaithan says, “This is an imaginary story about the life of the people in a village near Andhra-Tamil Nadu border. Kishore essays the role of the village chieftain. Shoot is over and the film is currently in its post-production stage.”
Talking about the songs, he says, “Four songs from Raaja sir’s previous films will be featured in a song in this film.It is actually a remix version. Raaja’s songs and background scrore are the backbone of this film.”
