The album begins with Yechacha Yechacha by Jithin Raj, which takes on Rajinikanth’s famous dialogue from the film Muthu. The beats are signature Imman, combining peppy-folk rhythm. Jithin does his part well, though, with his energetic singing. Along with Vairamuthu’s youthful lyrics, this one will work for a while with the listeners. This is followed by the melodious Rail Aaraaroo by Pradeep Kumar and

Shreya

Ghoshal. The tune is instantly likable and a tad different from Imman’s previous compositions. Pradeep and Shreya’s magical vocals along with impressive guitar portions make this one a winner.

Imman’s stirring Aram Seyya Virumbu, rendered by Hariharan, is one for keeps. This song, which has lyrics by Vairamuthu, is thought-provocative, what with superb lines. The song is a melody, and conveys the message in a beautiful manner. Then comes the high-on-energy Sophia by Aditya Rao and Sharanya Gopinath. The song echoes more of today’s music — peppy and sounding more clubbish. Though an OK composition, this one might strike a chord, provided it has good visuals.

Aei Arakka

(Thathatha Thadai) by Benny Dayal is better than the previous number with surging beats. More of a redefining song, be it the lyrics by Yugabharathi or vocals by Benny, this one is sure to work with the visuals. The album ends with two theme pieces — Dark Rooster and Badass. Though both have the same essence, each piece is treated differently. Imman gives yet another mixed bag with impressive and standard tunes.
