This four song-one remix-one theme score album has two beautiful numbers Yelelo and Idhayam that have the potential to become chartbusters. Interestingly, both these are sung by GV Prakash. The composer is a far more a talented singer than what we know.
Yelelo, in which Megha accompanies him, is a confidence-booster, and has an interesting folk touch.
1x1 polls
GV has rendered this number in all earnestness, giving the notes the right pitch with his full open vocals. The other song, Idhayam, is a slow pining duet, and has Saindhavi teaming up with her husband for it. The string section in the song is noteworthy.
Lovely Ladies is a different attempt by Gana Bala, Vijay Prakash, Aryan Dinesh and Megha, in which they infuse different genres of music. Theres also a club mix version of the song. Penne O Penne is a refreshing, feel-good romantic number by Vandana Srinivasan and Al-Rufiyan.
A Restless Soul is an instrumental rendition that sticks to the theme, thanks to the intense strings, beats and percussions. But it starts and ends too soon, giving us little time to figure out if we like it or not.
