Review: The album begins with Aagaya Kadaliley, a slow melody that talks about the hardships of life. Singer Nehru makes this already tragic number even more sorrowful. Next up is Amma Appava, a gana number that is a tribute to Thala Ajith. Sung by Gana Vinoth and Gana Guna, it has a monotonous tone, and we wonder how this track will look onscreen.
An interesting nadaswaram bit, followed by a melodious piano, that is how Oyamal, a romantic track, begins. With classical influences and a likable tune, this song stands out in the album. However, the singer, Divya somewhat lets it down as she fails to add subtleties in the vocals. The interludes with flute bits are soothing, and make up for this failure. The final track, Vithaikari is a duet sung by Nincy and Shenbagaraj. With fast beats and harmonium bits, this song has uncanny resemblance to several such songs in Kollywood. The track also has Punjabi influences, Rajasthani folk tunes, dholak beats in the chorus.
