The album begins with Melam Kottudaa, a very refreshing number, thanks to the perfect orchestration by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. The violins, guitars and percussions sound pitch perfect. The sounds are very native and Gold Devaraj, who croons the number, gives the much-needed rustic feel to the track. The lyrics by Sikkander resonates village life and the lack of water in the place. The track picks up pace towards the end. Next is Pudhu Varalaare, a slow track that begins with minimum instruments. The lyrics focus on the struggles of life, and it is sung by Sundarayyar. The main focus of the song lies on the vocalist and the interludes are power-packed with guitar and violin portions. With standard beats, Thoranam Aayiram, seems like yet another melancholic number. Changing her pitch, Vaikom Vijayalakshmi does justice to the number, with her unique voice. The interludes with guitar and violin bits are fantastic. All the three songs also have karaoke versions. It looks like all the songs in the album are background scores that will enhance the story a lot more. A short album, in which the live orchestra steals the limelight.
