Renjith Unni, the voice behind Jimikki Kammal, which reverberated across the country in 2017, is set to make his debut as a composer in Tamil cinema.
He will compose for a survival thriller titled Parundhaaguthu Oor Kuruvi, directed by Ko Dhanabalan and featuring actors Vivek Prasanna and Pandrikku Nandri Solli fame Nishanth Rusho in lead roles.
Talking about his journey in the industry, Renjith says, “My musical career began in 2012 when I started singing Tamil and Malayalam numbers. In 2017, Jimmiki Kammal from Mohanlal’s VelipaadintePusthakam became a sensation, and that was a turning point in my life. However, after that, I composed many devotional songs and music albums, including a song for my son’s first birthday, which was released by Jimmikki Kammal composer Shaan Raguman.”
