Jiiva, Vijay Antony sing for Ilaiyaraaja

Actor Jiiva has turned playback singer by singing a song in SA Chandrasekaran���s (SAC) upcoming film Touring Talkies, which has music by Ilaiyaraaja.
The actor has sung the title song of the film, a peppy rural number, which talks about the charm of touring talkies. A source tells us that SAC feels that this film should be his swan song as a director and wants to make it appealing to all kinds of audiences, and Ilaiyaraaja has been indulging his requests to make sure that it is special to the veteran.Since Jiiva shares a good rapport with Vijay (Jiiva���s father RB Chaudhary produced last year���s Jilla), he readily agreed to sing the song when SAC approached him.
Meanwhile, SAC also has got Vijay Antony, who made his debut as a composer in the director���s film Sukran in 2005, to sing another song in the film. Interestingly, Vijay Antony had played keyboard for Ilaiyaraaja before turning a music director.
