The film will be directed by
Aravindraj
, who debuted with
Vijayakanth's 'Oomai Vizhigal' and will see
JM Bashir
playing the lead role. Latest reports suggest that the makers have roped in Ilayaraja to score music for the much-awaited biopic. The makers reportedly told the famed musician that if he agreed to compose music for this film, then it was assured a 60 per cent success rate.
Ilayaraja accepted their request and promised to create songs that are as good as Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar. The makers are also in talks with popular stars to play key roles as several historical leaders in the story.
Many biopics are in the works in the Tamil film industry. The movies are touted to bring some unknown secrets about the stars to the big screen.
