Dhina said that after coming to know of the plight of the musicians, Ilaiyaraaja and Rahman have donated Rs 10 lakh each to help them. Besides, D Imman, Anirudh and Hip Hop Thamizha Adhi have given 3 lakhs each, Thaman has given 1 lakh and
Vijay Antony and Ghibran have contributed 50,000 each to help the struggling musicians. Now, each musician will get Rs 2,000 from this money collected, to meet their essential requirements.
On the film front, AR Rahman recently joined as co-producer and musician AR Rahman joins Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Megan Mitchell's No Land's Man. Ilaiyaraaja, on the other hand recently announced that he would start an app to interact with his fans.
