Here's when the first single from 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' will be out!

The magnum opus of Mani Ratnam 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' which was released last year was a blockbuster hit. The sequel of the film is all set to release in theatres on April 28. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman and the songs for the movie of the first part of the film were also successful and now the movie makers have officially announced when the first single from 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' will be out.

Taking to Twitter, the movie makers revealed that the song 'Aga Naga' from 'Ponnyin Selvan 2' will be out on March 20, Monday. Earlier, last week, the production house shared a series of pictures of Trisha's test look shoot as princess Kundavai and announced that the first single will soon be out. Taking to Twitter, the movie makers shared the new poster featuring Trisha and Karthi.


The song will be released in five languages - Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. The song poster showcases Trisha as princess Kundavai dress in white with a sword in her hand and Karthi as Vanthiayathevan who is blindfolded and kneeling. The movie is a historical fiction drama adapted from the novel and the film features Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai and Karthi in lead roles.
