Haricharan calls this a special pic; here's why

(SPB) was not just a great singer in the film industry, but an inspiration to many young artistes. His demise in 2020 came as a shock to legions of his music fans across the globe, which include many celebrities, too. Kollywood singer Haricharan is one among them who finds great inspiration in SPB’s music. Recently, he performed at a tribute concert for SPB and he shared a pic on social media, saying it’s a special picture with his annas.

In the pic that he shared on social media, he’s seen posing with SPB Charan, Venkat Prabhu and Yugendran Vasudevan. Sharing the pic, Haricharan writes, “With my aNNaa's. This is indeed a special Picture for me. When I started singing in film music in 2004, I started performing Stage shows with these Pro's with @official_gangaiamaran uncle and that was when I learnt so much about Tamil Film Music and the Roots of it. Have toured so much with these Funsters. Never a Dull day. Missing @premgi here :) So happy to have "Gigged" with them for #SPB75 (sic).”

Haricharan is one of the top singers in Kollywood today. He has huge respect for SPB. Last year, during an interaction, he had told us, “SPB sir has been a huge influence in my musical career. He is almost a reference for every particular expression and situation in a movie. He has been like a dictionary for me. (sic).”
