First video song from 'Ponniyin Selvan' - 'Chozha Chozha' is now out!

Finally, the much awaited first video from the magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is out. The makers have released the full video song of ‘Chozha Chozha’ on October 14 and it serves as a treat to the audience. The video has Vikram featuring in it and it shows his extraordinary and raging performance as a king.

‘Chozha Chozha’ was the second single that was released before the film’s release in theatres, and it was well received. The song is sung by Sathya Prakash, VM Mahalingam, and Nakul Abhyankar and the lyrics was written by Ilango Krishnan. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman.

‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is one of the albums of AR Rahman that has turned out to be a massive success of 2022. Apart from ‘Chozha Chozha’, the music album consists of the songs ‘Ponni Nadhi’, ‘Sol’, ‘Ratchasa Maamane’ and all these songs are highly trending now.

‘Ponniyin Selvan’ was released in theatres on September 30. The movie is a historic epic drama, and it features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi and Trisha in the lead roles and the story of the movie revolves around the war between the Cholas and Pandyas in the 10th century. The film has become a blockbuster and it has reportedly made more than Rs 450 crore at the box office in 20 days. The second part of the movie is expected to be released in Summer 2023.
