Dhanush liked the lyrics very much: Ganesh Chandrasekaran

Composer Ganesh Chandrasekaran is kicked about the fact that Dhanush has sung in his maiden film, Ezhumin. And he credits actor Vivekh, who plays the lead role in the film, for making it happen. “The situation called for a pathos song and when we were thinking who we should bring on board in to sing it, Vivekh sir said that we should ask Dhanush sir. He felt that since the song was emotional like the Amma Amma song in Velaiilla Pattadhari, Dhanush sir’s voice would be apt for it,” recalls the youngster, and adds that the actor immediately accepted their request
Talking about the recording of the song, titled Ezhada, he says, “Dhanush sir liked the lyrics very much.They have been written by Thamizhanangu. The entire recording took some one-and-a-half hours, and since Dhanush sir is passionate about music, I could talk to him at length about music and lyrics. He even wrote a couple of additional lines for the song.”
