Devi Sri Prasad to compose music for Lingusamy’s film with Tollywood star Ram

The film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu
We had earlier reported that

Lingusamy

is all set to rope in Devi Sri Prasad to compose the score for his Tamil-Telugu bilingual with

Ram

and

Uppena

girl Krithi Shetty. Well, it’s official now! The team has announced with a poster that

DSP

, as the composer is fondly known, is part of their film!

In February, we had reported that Lingusamy had a meeting with DSP and that the two have vibed well. Looks like things have fallen in place now.

The social media handle of the production house, Srinivasaa Silver Screen, had tweeted, “Welcoming the ‘Rockstar’ Onboard. #RAPO19 is going to be a @ThisIsDSP’s musical. ing : Ustaad @ramsayz & @IamKrithiShetty. : @dirlingusamy. : @SS_Screens #SrinivasaaChitturi (sic).”

This is the first time that Lingusamy and DSP will be working together. The film will go on floors in May. “It will be shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, primarily in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam,” a source tells us, “Another interesting addition to the cast is veteran actress Nadhiya. She has an important role, and will kind of hold the story together.”

While the film will mark Lingusamy’s directorial debut in Tollywood, it will be Ram and Krithi’s first straight venture in Kollywood.
