Darbuka Siva was choosy about his films post ENPT: Barath

Recently, we told you that director Barath Neelakantan will be directing a thriller with Arulnithi in the lead. The director told us that he was still finalising the rest of the cast and crew, but the latest we hear is that Darbuka Siva has been roped in to compose music for the film. Barath says, “I am a big fan of Siva’s music, like everyone else. When we were brainstorming about the music for the project, my producer asked me what I thought about Siva’s music. I was very kicked to work with him for my debut. We met him and had a detailed narration. I guess he is pretty choosy about his films post Enai Noki Paayum Thota’s hit. So, he took some time, chatted with me every day regarding the script, and eventually, confirmed to come on board. He said he was able to connect with the storyline and that is very important for a composer.” Barath and Siva have already begun working on the music for the film. “We have been working on the music for the last two months. The film is a suspense thriller, set in the city. So, the music will be youthful and echo the theme of the film,” says Barath. The team, meanwhile, is still finalising the rest of the cast.
