‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ album to release on September 5

Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s highly anticipated multi-starrer ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ is finally gearing up for a release next month. Last week, the makers unveiled the theatrical trailer of ‘CCV’, which received fantastic response from the audience on social media. In fact, the trailer is still trending on YouTube and has earned over 7 million views.
As per the latest buzz, the much-awaited ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ audio launch will happen in Chennai on September 5.Several eminent personalities from the industry are likely to grace the event. The songs, composed by the Academy Award winner AR Rahman, are penned by the veteran lyricist Vairamuthu. On the other hand, fans are eagerly looking forward to the music since Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman duo is widely popular for the chartbusting albums.
Produced by Madras Talkies, the film also stars Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rajesh and Dayana Erappa in lead roles. Also starring Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and Thyagarajan in pivotal roles, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ is reported to be a gangster drama.
If reports are to believed, the film is all set for a grand release on September 28.
