Director Venkat Prabhu recently released the trailer of Ulkuthu on his micro-blogging page while the music launch of Ulkuthu was simultaneously held in Chennai. This the launch was a grand affair with the entire team of Ulkuthu marking their presence, which includes producer J Selvakumar of Kenanya Films, co-Producer G Vittalkumar, director Caarthik Raju, male lead Attakathi Dinesh, female lead Nandita, music director Justin Prabhakaran, actors Sriman, Bala Saravanan and lyricist Kattalai Raja.
���We have exclusively shot Ulkuthu in Muttam Village - Nagercoil district. I think after Bharathi Raja Sir, only director Caarthik Raju has analyzed and observed Muttam very closely. His observations will be reflected on the screen, said Sriman at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh said, ���Ulkuthu will be an important milestone in Nandita���s and my film career. Each and every scene has been beautifully composed by director Caarthik Raju. We are quite sure that audience will be at the edge of their seats while watching Ulkuthu.��� The plot of Ulkuthu revolves around fish cutters.
