Mysskin is all geared up for his next film starring
Shanthanu Bhagyaraj
. After roping in lensman PC Sreeram for the project, he is apparently in talks with
AR Rahman
for the same.
According to reports, the ‘Pisasu’ director has approached the Oscar-winning composer for his next. However, nothing has been official as yet. While Mysskin is known for his frequent collaborations with maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Arrol Corelli, it would reportedly be for the first time that the filmmaker and Rahman come together if everything works fine.
While the shooting is expected to take off later this year, reports indicate that actresses Sai Pallavi and Nithya Menen are likely to be roped in for the project. The film will be bankrolled by Libra Productions, which has bankrolled projects like Sutta Kadhai and Nalanum Nandhiniyum.
Meanwhile, AR Rahman is once again teaming up with
Vijay for his forthcoming ‘Thalapathy 62’. He was supposed to compose music for the
Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, but opted out of it. AR Rahman also has two releases this year with Shankar’s ‘2.0’ and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'.
