A new video song ‘Rekka Namakku’ from Jyothika's 'Raatchasi' unveiled

After the success of 'Katrin Mozhi' popular actress, Jyothika is working on a number of projects. Her immediate release will be a social drama titled 'Raatchasi'. Jyotika is said to be playing a strict Government school teacher who struggles to improve the educational standards and guides her students in the right way. Her character also raises questions against the mishaps inside the management of a school.SR Prabhu will be bankrolling this project under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures and SY Gowtham Raj will be making his directorial debut with this film. Previously the lyrical video of the song was released and now the full video of the song titles 'Rekka Namakku' is released. Crooned by Srinidhi S and music for the film is composed Sean Roldan. Sy. Gowtham Raj has penned the lyrics for this song.A grand school set worth rupees 50 lakhs was constructed for the film in which the makers shot important scenes. Gokul Benoy of 'Monster' fame will be cranking the camera and editing by Philomin Raj. The film also stars Poornima Bhagyaraj, Sathyan and Hareesh Peradi in important roles.Jyotika is currently busy shooting for 'Jackpot' with director Kalyan of 'Gulebagavali' fame in which she will be seen along with veteran actress Revathy which is produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. She also has another film with director Jeethu Joseph of 'Papanasam' fame which has Karthi playing a central role.
