Ghibran
is ecstatic and why wouldn't he? The composer received Asian
Arab Award 2019
at Hyderabad recently for his service in music.
An elated Ghibran says, “All praise to Almighty and creator of music. It has been such a great honour to have my work recognised on the international platform. It was really a wonderful experience to have the occasion graced by celebrated delegates from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, UAE, Russia and Jordan. This merely doesn’t give a joyful impact, but squares up my responsibility to give the best in near future.”
Ghibran had strode with successful year in 2018 with beautiful and challenging projects like Kamal Haasan’s 'Vishwaroopam 2', Vishnu Vishal starrer 'Ratsasan' and Samuthirakani’s 'Aan Devathai', where both the songs and BGMs were appreciated.
And this year looks promosing, too, what with the composer working on different genres. The line-up includes Vikram’s 'Kadaram Kondan', Vaibav’s 'Sixer', Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s 'House Owner', Hansika’s 'Maha' and Abhay Deol’s 'Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai'. He will also be making his Malayalam debut in 'Athiran', with his work only on the BGM. He also has the Kannada-Telugu bilingual 'Home Minister' in the pipeline.
