A folk song recorded for Plan Panni Pannanum

It was announced recently that Badri Venkatesh’s film, starring Rio Raj and Remya Nambeesan, has been titled

Plan Panni Pannanum

. The rom-com, which has Yuvan Shankar Raja composing music, features a bevy of cast, like Robo Shankar, Balasaravanan, Munishkanth, Viji Chandrasekar, Livingston, Naren, Rekha, Sujatha, Thangadurai and Santhana Bharathi. B Rajasekar is the cinematographer for the project which has been shot in Chennai, Kerala, Sikkim, Kodaikkanal and abroad.

On Monday evening, Badri took to Twitter to announce the recording session of a folk song which had Yuvan and Remya along with him. He tweeted with a picture of them, “Had a great song recording session with the awesome @nambessan_ramya and @thisisysr for #planpannipannanum #yuvanbadri3 a pristine folk song.”



The film has Rio Raj and Remya playing IT employees. While the former hails from north Madras backdrop, the latter is from a small town. What happens a few days before the day she is supposed to go abroad for an off-shore project forms the crux of the story. Billed as an out-and-out entertainer, the travel flick is expected to release soon.
