Trisha Krishnan treats fans to "Matta" song BTS glimpses from Thalapathy Vijay’s 'GOAT' set

Thalapathy Vijay's latest film, 'The Greatest of All Time' (GOAT) has created immense excitement among fans. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this action-packed thriller showcases Vijay in dual roles as both father and son, giving audiences a double dose of his star power. The movie also features several exciting cameos, including appearances by Trisha Krishnan who recently shared behind-the-scenes photos from the sets.

Trisha, who made a brief but memorable appearance, stunned audiences in the song "Matta," where she showed off her graceful dance moves alongside Vijay. Dressed in a bright yellow saree, Trisha lit up the screen and shared some behind-the-scenes glimpses of the shoot on her Instagram, much to the delight of her fans. Additionally, Sivakarthikeyan also appeared in a small role, while Dhoni’s cameo added an interesting touch to the film.

One of the more intriguing aspects of 'GOAT' is the AI-generated appearance of the late actor Captain Vijayakanth, which has been a talking point for fans.

The film’s plot revolves around Gandhi (played by Vijay), a former member of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS), who is forced to return to action due to new threats. The movie follows Gandhi as he confronts his past. He also plays his son Jeevan.

The film's cast includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Yogi Babu. 'GOAT' has opened to mixed reviews, however, Vijay’s dual performance and the film’s high-octane action sequences have kept audiences entertained. On its first day as the film was released on September 5, the movie earned around Rs 43 crore at the Indian box office across all languages as per a Sacnilk report.

'GOAT' has also teased a sequel, with hints in the end credits that the next film could be titled 'GOAT vs OG'. Rumours suggest that Ajith Kumar might be involved, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
