Directed by Sneha Britto 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' is a remake of the 1981 film 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' by S. A. Chandrasekhar and stars Reema Sen, Piaa, Bindhu Madhavi and Taman Kumar. Vimala Britto is producing this movie, under the Esthel Entertainment banner.
Under the supervision of director-producer S.A Chandrasekhar, Actor Vijay's cousin Sneha Britto is directing this film.The story and screenplay have been modified to suit the current trend.
Newcomer Thaman and Bindhu Madhavi are the lead pairs. The other supporting roles are played by Reema Sen, Suresh and Piya Bajpai.

This 1981 movie was earlier made in Telugu with Chiranjeevi, Malayalam with Kamal Haasan, in Hindi with Rajni and Amitabh Bachchan, and in Kannada with Shankar Nag.
