Directed by K Kandeepan and Produced by N Sridhar, Siva Saravanan under Actrion Take Movies banner, 'Aavi Kumar' starring Udhaya, Kanika Tiwari and Jagan has been shot in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore for 45 days. The shooting has been done in exotic and beautiful locations that have been unexplored so far by cinematograpger Rajesh Yathav.
Udhaya who is the male lead in the film will be seen in totally different character and Kanika Tiwari who plaed a role in bollywood film 'Agneepath' playes the female lead in the film.Jagan plays Udhaya's friend and seems to have done a excellent job with the comedy.
The film which is a comical thriller, has music is scored by Vijay Antony with Na Muthukumar penning the lyrics for all the five songs in the film.
