Dusky beauty Amala Paul and director Vijay have finally broke their silence over their relationship. The two are to get married soon. Amala says, "He came (in)to my life, changed my life, changed my thoughts and literally swept me off my feet. Something inside me made me like the changes in me. Later, I realized it was the love for him. Here I am drowned in love, drenched in care by him."

While the wedding is to happen in June, 2014, Director Vijay, who has directed Amala Paul in 'Deiva Thirumagal' and 'Thalaivaa' says, "Yes, the search for my life partner ends here as I have found my soul mate in Amala! She is the girl with the most beautiful heart I know! She is truly a treasure and I will preserve it with the utmost love and care."

After making her Tamil debut with the Dhanush-starrer 'Kaadhal Kondein', directed by Selvaraghavan, the pretty actress went on to star in the director's successful '7G Rainbow Colony' and critically acclaimed 'Pudhupettai'. Just when the buzz on their relationship was growing stronger, the duo tied the knot in 2006. Differences soon cropped up between the two and the couple mutually consented to a divorce in 2010. Sonia made a re-entry into films, essaying a supporting role in the multi-starrer Vaanam. Meanwhile, the director has moved on and married Gitanjali Raman in 2011. The couple have a daughter named Leelavathi.

Revathi-Suresh Menon
Actor, cinematographer and film director Suresh Menon fell in love with actress Revathy during a film shoot and the two got married in 1988 with the blessings of their parents. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer, Revathy made her debut in the 1983 film 'Mann Vasanai', but was directed by Suresh only after their marriage in 'Pudhiya Mugam' and 'Paasamalargal', both of which released in 1993. Their relationship hit a rough patch almost 15 years after their marriage and after a lot of introspection and thought, they decided to part ways amicably in 2012.

Khushbu-Sundar C
The Mumbai-born actress met the film director after landing the role of the female lead in the film 'Murai Maman' in 1995. The film also marked the directorial debut of Sundar C. The couple soon entered marital bliss and have two daughters, Avanthika and Ananditha, after whom they have named their production house. The bold actress has found herself being dragged into several controversies. The most talked about of this lot was the one on her remarks in an interview on AIDS awareness. In the interview, she spoke about the need for protected sex. She said it was fine for girls to have pre-marital sex but not without taking precautions to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Poornima-Bhagyaraj
The creative film director and writer got interested in actress Poornima while shooting the film 'Darling Darling Darling', in which he played the lead apart from directing. The couple have a daughter Saranya Bhagyaraj, who debuted in the 2006 film 'Parijatham' and a son Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, who made his debut in 'Sakkarakatti'. Poornima was in her peak from 1980 to 1984, after which she quit films prior to her marriage with Bhagyaraj. However, she recently made a comeback in a mother's role in 'Aadhalal Kaadhal Seiveer' in 2013 and 'Jilla' in 2014.

Seetha-Parthepan
The actress started dating the director during the shooting of the film Pudhea Paadhai in 1989 in which they starred together. Parthepan, who worked as an assitant to director K Bhagyaraj in his early days, followed his guru's footsteps in marrying an actress and tied the knot with Seetha in 1990. They have two daughters Abinaya and Keerthana. The latter acted in the film 'Kannathil Muthamittal'. The acclaimed director though couldn't keep his marriage intact, unlike K Bhagyaraj. The couple got divorced in 2001.

Niece of veteran Tamil comedian Cho Ramaswamy, Ramya Krishnan starred in the Krishna Vamsi-directed Telugu flick 'Chandralekha', starring Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead, prior to their marriage. The couple have a son named Ritwik. Ramya started her acting career at the age of 13 and has an acting career spanning over 30 years. The sexy actress is known for her performance in films such as Amman, Padayappa, Panchathantiram, Vaanjinathan among many others.

Radhika-Pratap Pothen
Born in Sri Lanka and brought up in India and U.K, Radhika made her debut with the Bharathiraja directed blockbuster 'Kizhake Pogum Rail'. The talented actress produced the Pratap Pothen-directed 'Meendum Oru Kaathal Kathai', which won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director. Radhika fell in love with Prathap Pothen while making the film in which they starred together in 1985. They got married the same year. However, they parted ways pretty soon. While Radhika married actor Sarathkumar, Pratap Pothen married Amala Satyanath Pothen in 1990.
