Yuvan, Ashwin R and others remember Na Muthukumar on his birthday

Lyricist Na Muthukumar, who passed away in 2016, is still remembered by his ardent fans and colleagues in Kollywood, thanks to his irreplaceable lines and his relationship with people in the industry. Had he been alive, he would have turned 45 on Sunday. A few Kollywod celebs took to their Twitter accounts to remember him.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who collaborated with the lyricist in several popular songs for super hit movies, posted a photo in which he is seen along with Muthukumar and posted, “We did not realise we were making memories, we just knew we were making songs.Happy Birthday.”

Harish Kalyan retweeted Yuvan's post by mentioning that he has been missing songs in their combination. He tweeted, "We really miss him & ur combo with him @thisisysr sir. Fav #NaMuthukumarBirthday."

Director Thiru said only a few people remain in our memory even after their demise. He posted a picture in which both of them were seen with music director Thaman and posted, “ஒரு சிலரைத்தான் மறைந்த பின்பும் கூட புதைக்கமுடிவதில்லை நம்மால்.. Na.Muthukumar.”

Several fans were using the hashtag #HBDNaMuthukumar on Twitter from Sunday morning to post their favourite song of Muthukumar. Lyricist-turned-filmmaker Arunraja Kamaraj, too, used the hashtag and tweeted with a photo, “உணர்வள்ளிக் கொட்டி அதன்மேல் உயர்ந்து நிற்கும் உன்னதமே இனிய பிறந்தநாள் வாழ்த்துகள்.

Actor Shanthnu posted a small clip from his film Siddhu +2 in which he is seen dancing along with Chandini Tamilarasan and posted, “Remembering #NaMuthukumar lyricist. What an amazing talent.”

Cricketer Ashwin Ravichandran replied to his tweet, saying that he has vague memory of watching the movie from Mayajaal. Remembering the lyricist, he tweeted, “Life is cruel sometimes.”

Sarvam Thaala Mayam (Maya Maya) and 2.0 (Pullinangai) under AR Rahman's composition are a few projects of his which released much later after his demise.
