You can now watch Rajinikanth's 'Sivaji: The Boss' in theatres for Rs. 99

The 2007 blockbuster film 'Sivaji: The Boss' starring Rajinikanth in the lead role is all set to re-release in theatres. An Aakashvani report stated that the film will be released in 4k on selected screens in Telugu and that the tickets will be priced at Rs. 99. The film will begin screening in theatres from September 20.

Directed by Shankar, the movie stars Rajinikanth, Vivek, Shriya Saran in lead roles and the romantic action drama is one of the biggest successes of Rajinikanth. With an engaging storyline, the movie was released in 2007 and it was one of the first Tamil films to release in 4K. The film's music is composed by AR Rahman.


Following its release in 2007, the movie made a gross of Rs 160 crore at the box office and later in 2012, the film was re-released in 3D as 'Sivaji 3D'. The film was re-mastered and it was also cut short in time to make it more engaging and enjoyable for the audience.

On the work front, Rajinikanth is now awaiting the release of his film 'Vettaiyan'. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie is set for its release on October 10 and the cast includes Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and VJ Rakshan in lead roles. The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the film's first single 'Manasilayo' was recently launched.

The superstar actor also has his next film 'Coolie' with Lokesh Kanagaraj and the film's cast includes Rajinikanth, Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Upendra among others and the music for it is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
