Seven Tamil movies namely 'Rudhran', 'Thiruvin Kural', 'Soppana Sundari', 'Tamilarasan', Shakuntalam', Ripupbury', and 'Yaanai Mugathan' were announced to release on April 14 which is the Tamil New Year. Since seven films releasing together might create a problem for all the movies to get good number of screens and attention, 'Yaanai Mugathan' makers have now announced the film's postponement to April 21.
However, the makers have not shared the reason why the film has been pushed ahead to April 21 as the following weekend too will see four Tamil movies hitting the big screens.
Directed by Rejishh Midhila, 'Yaanai Mugathan' also has Ramesh Thilak, Oorvasi, Karunakaran, Uday Chandra, and Naaga Vishaal in significant roles, and the film is centered on a hardcore devotee of Lord Ganesha.
As 'Yaanai Mugathan' has already been postponed from April 14, we can expect one or two films to be postponed from the announced date to a later date.
