Popular comedian Yogi Babu's upcoming film is 'Bommai Nayagi' directed by debutant Shan in which he is playing the lead role. Produced by Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions, the film has music composed by Sundaramurthy. Now the makers have revealed the release date of the film, and Bommai Nayagi is all set to hit the screens on February 3.
'Bommai Nayagi' revolves around the story of a father and daughter. Set in the coastal region of Cuddalore, the film also stars child artiste Srimathi. It's about how society, and politics affect their livelihood. Yogi Babu plays the father and this is the first time he's doing a full-fledged serious role.
The film also stars Subhatra, who is known for films like 'Vada Chennai' and 'Kabali' and 'Madras' fame Hari Krishnan is also playing an important role in the film.
