, which is being directed by

. In the movie, Yogi Babu sports a fresh look, that of

Jack Sparrow

from the Pirates of the Caribbean. The team has resumed shooting and Yogi Babu is part of the schedule. Prabhu says, “While Mahat is looking for Aishwarya Dutta (who plays the female lead) at a resort, Yogi Babu arrives there for a treasure hunt. We went in for the Jack Sparrow look for Yogi Babu. I’d already thought of it when I wrote the scenes, and I felt only Yogi Babu could carry off the look best. When I told him, he, too was enthused about the idea. In the following sequences, Yogi Babu and Mahat help each other achieve their goals and become friends.”

Prabhu says that they were supposed to shoot Yogi Babu’s portions in April. “Yogi then gave us the date right after the government permitted us to shoot. Unlike his earlier films, this character is quite different and audiences will see him in a new light. But like always, his sense of humour will be intact,” says Prabhu.

The film also has Sakshi Agarwal as one of the leads. “Sakshi joined the set recently and it will be an interesting role for her,” he says. Though the film was delayed, Prabhu is positive about releasing it early next year. “We have about 10% of talkie portions left, and will wrap up our song shoot, too. We are planning to release the teaser by this month and are working on releasing the film by the first quarter of 2021,” he says.
