Yami's learning Tamil

Post the success of the contemporary Vicky Donor, actress Yami Gautham has been riding a high wave recently having shot for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, Gauravam, despite not being too well-versed with the language.
While the makers thought it best to shift dates so as to provide Yami with more time to gauge the language, being the thorough professional that she is, the actress decided to take it up as a challenge and learn both Tamil and Telugu simultaneously as she shot for the film.
Reveals a source, ��� The fact that Gauravam is bilingual didn���t hinder Yami���s performance one bit. Despite not being fluent in any of the South languages, Yami decided not to waste time in going through a proper coaching and instead would sit with the script and with the team and work on her lines till she got them right. By the end of it she was able to deliver the dialogues like a pro and had impressed everyone on the sets.���
Says Yami Gautham, ���Being a North Indian it was quite a challenge to learn Tamil and Telugu but I was really determined to get the basics right. Also I���m grateful that the team has been very supportive.���
