Word play for Sathya

For music composer Sathya, coming up with tunes for Pon Maalai Pozhudhu has been a challenge. For, he had to compose scores that would highlight the witty lyrics penned by Madan Karky, Thamarai and Karthik Netha!
He says, ���The film is a musical, and given that Kaviperarasu Kannadasan���s grandson Aadhav debuts with this one, I wanted the music to be much talked-about.���
He continues, ���Karky has written a number called the Weekend Song.It starts with the word ���vaarkodumaikal���, which means beer in pure Tamil. He���s used several Tamil words that not many of us have heard. In Nee Indri..., he���s worked on the ���solandhadhi��� format, in which the succeeding word stars with the letter with which the previous one ended. Karthik, who wrote lyrics for Poraney Poraney..., and Thamarai have also written some fabulous songs. I���ve kept the music simple and straight so that youngsters can enjoy it.���
