In recent weeks, various directors have been linked with Ajith for his next venture, including Maharaja director Nithilan Swaminathan and others such as Prashanth Neel, Vishnuvardhan, and Venkat Prabhu. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his next film, the prevailing rumor is that Karthik Subbaraj may team up with Ajith for a project expected to begin in October. This collaboration is expected to be a quick one, keeping fans excited for what’s next in the actor's career.

Ajith's latest release, 'Vidaamuyarchi,' directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is an action thriller inspired by the Hollywood film Breakdown. The movie stars Trisha as the female lead, alongside key performances by Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav. The story follows a couple on the brink of divorce, with Ajith's character, Arjun, fighting to rescue his wife after she is kidnapped.
