The Madras High Court recently issued a ban for the makers to release their films 'Aalambana' and 'Ayalaan' until they clear the issue. Following it, 'Aalambana', which was supposed to be released on December 15, was postponed to a later date, while the release of 'Ayalaan' is in doubt. But the recent social media post of 'Ayalaan' makers confirms that the Sivakarthikeyan starrer will have a grand release for Pongal, and the makers also assured that the second single will be released in a few days. So, 'Ayalaan' is releasing for Pongal for sure, and the film's audio launch is scheduled to happen in Chennai on December 26.

Directed by Ravikumar, 'Ayalaan' is a science fiction drama, and it features Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role with Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, and Bala Saravanan, among others, in crucial roles. 'Ayalaan' has a comical alien character in an important role, and actor Siddharth has given his voice to the alien character.
