Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan, known for his charm and dedication to unique storytelling might just hit a roadblock with his next film.
The star whose filmography reflects his love for vintage titles with films like 'Ethir Neechal', 'Maaveeran', recently faced controversy over the title of his film 'Parasakthi' as the makers of the original prevented the actor from using the title, Sivaji Ganesan's fans also demanded respect for the classic film.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film helmed by AR Murugadoss has been titled 'Madharasi', which also happens to be a title of a 2006 Tamil-language action film titled 'Madrasi' written and directed by Arjun Sarja. However, it remains to be seen whether Arjun Sarja or the makers of the 2006 film will oppose the Sivakarthikeyan starrer or if they have already granted permission to reuse the title.
