Will Ritika Singh star opposite Simbu in his next?

Actor Simbu recently received his honorary doctorate for his distinguished excellence in cinema. He was last seen on the big screen in Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Maanaadu’ which was a successful hit. While the actor is now occupied with many projects, just a couple of days ago, a piece of news surfaced that the actor will be reportedly joining hands with director Aswath Marimuthu.
Reportedly, the movie will be produced by AGS Entertainment and this yet to be titled film will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu who directed the movie ‘Oh My Kadavule’ starring Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh. According to reports, Simbu after finishing his schedule for ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’, will start shooting for ‘Pathu Thala’ and ‘Corona Kumar’. It is stated that after completing these three films, he will start his shooting schedule for Ashwath’s next.
Ashwath Marimuthu’s next is touted to be a romantic comedy and it is expected that the movie will go on the floor in the second half of the year. Now, the new buzz is that the director is reportedly keen to offer the role of the female lead to Ritika Singh. There has been no official confirmation regarding the movie yet, but we can expect Ritika Singh to be featured opposite Simbu in his next.
Ritika Singh has acted in ‘Irudhi Suttru’, ‘Oh My Kadavule’ and ‘Aaandavan Katalai’.
