Who's the Chennai belly?

After much speculations, a reliable source confirms that director Kannan will be directing the Tamil remake of the Delhi Belly.
The source adds, 'Kannan is currently in Puducherry, discussing the script for Delhi Belly. John Mahendran, who earlier directed Sachien, is penning the dialogues for the Tamil remake and the cast of the film will be decided soon.'
Interestingly, the buzz was that Simbu would be reprising Imran Khan's character in the film.The Bollywood flick came under the scanner for extensive use of cuss words and there was even a protest against its screening in theatres. Now, the Kollywood audience will have to wait and see how Kannan and John manage to tone down the expletives, and yet, retain the essence of the film.
