Who'll make the cut?

While director P Kumar wants Ilayathalapathy, his mentor K S Ravikumar says Karthi would be perfect for the Tamil remake of Vishnuvardhana.
The recently-released Kannada flick, starring Sudeep, saw a special screening in Chennai. The film���s director, P Kumar, held this show to show his debut effort to his gurus K S Ravikumar and Bhagyaraj.
Appreciating his prot��g�����s work, Ravikumar says, ���I���m going to help Kumar wholeheartedly if he chooses to remake it in Tamil.���
Kumar, expectedly, was delighted with the warm applause that his film receivedon his home turf.���After assisting Ravikumar in films like Varalaru, it felt great to have him watch my debut effort and hear praises from him,��� says Kumar, who reveals that remaking this film in Tamil is an idea he had all the while.
When we quiz him on who would be the one actor who he���d love to cast in Sudeep���s role, Kumar says, ���Vijay���s on my wishlist. I think he would do justice to the film. But, Ravikumar says Karthi would be ideal for the role. I���d be able to get a clearer picture in a fortnight on who���d be the final hero.���
