When Rajinikanth changed clothes in public

Rajinikanth's next film is set to release on his birthday. On how the film Lingaa happened, he said, ���When I was under.going health issues in 2011, I wondered if I would be able to act in films again and I also thought whether I would be able to dance and do action sequences like before.So, when my health got better, I took up Soundarya's film. Though I did Kochadaiyaan, a lot of fans asked me why I didn't appear even in one scene (since it's an animation film).They even told that I should have appeared in the last scene.Then I realized that I should do a film immediately for my fans. Since my earlier projects took years to get completed, I decided to do a film that would get over quickly and release in six months. When KS Ravikumar and Pon Kumaran came up with such a script, I immediately agreed to work on it and I knew that only Ravikumar could do it.���

At the audio launch of the film, Rajini, while responding to a question on whether he would enter politics, said, "Vairamuthu said though he has worked with me for a very long time, he couldn't know more about me. I should say that Enna patththi enakke theriyathu (I don't know about myself). I don't decide anything on my own; situations decide what I have to do. In the same way , situations will also decide that (politics). Moreover, politics is an indepth chapter and I have a little hesitation when I think about the depth.Right now, I can only give my usual answer that God only has to decide about it. Irrespective of whether I enter politics or not, I will continue to entertain and that's how I give back my love to fans for their unconditional support."

# Everyday, thousands turned up on the set of the film to just click a photo with the Superstar. He clicked pictures with all of them not disappointing even a single person.
# As his grandchildren Yatra and Linga are his great companions. Rajini named this film after his grand son Linga.
# Dhanush was also supposed to do a film with the same title with director Ameer. Ameer had registered the title four years ago. However, since it was Rajini's request, Ameer gave away the title to him.
# One day Rajini had to change clothes for a shot. When the crew insisted him to go to the caravan and change it. He just asked for a lungi, covered himself and changed his dress quickly on the set. The reason he told was apparently, "If I waste time, thousands will be waiting for me in the hot sun."
